Reunited... and it feels so good!

So as most of you know, my Ten Year Highschool Reunion was this past weekend in Mobile, Alabama.  All weekend I was celebrating the reunion of my classmates from the McGill-Toolen Catholic Highschool Class of 2001.  As Class President of three years, I was given the incredibly daunting great task of planning the entire weekend.  With help from my Mom, Dad, and my close friend, Sarah, the weekend was a BLAST!!  Here's how it went down:

Friday night started off with a casual mixer at the Corner Bar in Mobile.  The Corner Bar is owned by one of our very own classmates, Thomas.  We had an awesome time catching up with people we haven't seen in forever!  Here are some of my favorite pictures of the night.

I went to school with these people Kindergarten through 12th grade!

Even Erol saw some good friends' of ours!

Annie came all the way from Boston!

On Saturday, my classmates and I attended a tour of our old highschool, given my our very own Mr. McAtee.  It was great to see how things have changed and even more interesting to see what hasn't changed at all!  After the tour, we headed straight over to St. Mary's Church for a Mass in honor of the Class of 2001.  It was so nice to celebrate Mass with my old classmates again.  Mass was celebrated by Father Dan Goode who is also a graduate of our class!  It was amazing to hear him say Mass!!

Saturday night was the main event at a wonderful restaurant downtown Mobile called Cafe 615.  My parents went to the venue ahead of time to set up so I could go get ready for the party.  They are too nice to do that for me!  Cafe 615 did such a great job with the set up and the food was amazing!  I will recommend Cafe 615 to anyone who wants to host a casual, yet nice event in Mobile.  Even  more people came Saturday night who I did not get to see Friday night.  Here are some photos from Saturday night's event:

The food at Cafe 615 was great!

I had SUCH A BLAST with everyone the entire weekend!  It was incredibly exhausting but totally worth it.  I was so glad to see everyone that could make it.  I thought I would see everyone and think how much they've changed, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that everyone is exactly the same.  I think everyone had a great time.  I can tell by all the smiles on their faces! I can't wait for the 20 year reunion.  However, I don't think I'll be planning that one :)
