Another One Bites the Dust!

This past weekend, very dear friends of our were married in Montgomery, Alabama.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. John Armayor!!  I am totally jealous of them at this moment since they are in Hawaii on their honeymoon...

Since we haven't been to Montgomery in years we knew it was going to be a fun weekend to explore the town.  So much has changed since the last time we were there.  We had the best time!!

Friday night was the rehearsal and then the rehearsal dinner at 129 Coosa Street.  The venue was awesome and the food was amazing!!  I enjoyed Every.Single.Bite. of my appetizers, salad, entrees, dinner rolls (yes, I had multiple), and dessert.  I was completely stuffed from Friday night's dinner and vowed to never eat (or drink) again!!!!  Of course, that promise was broken about 12 hours later when we went to lunch... oh well.  It's the thought that counts :)

Saturday we met up friends at the Renaissance pool before I had to head to the Church for my bridesmaid's duties.  The wedding ceremony went off without one single flaw and then we headed to the Alley Station for the reception.  We ate, drank, and danced the night away as we celebrated the newlyweds!

Friday night after the rehearsal dinner we met up with some friends who were in town for the wedding at the Alley Bar.  They had this very interesting "Shot Room."  It was a very cold room where you go to take shots out of shot glasses made of ice.  I didn't really want or need a shot, but we had to check it out, right?  We put on these very "sexy" jackets before entering... We can at least say we did it!
